I've received a suspicious email, how can I be sure it's from Chello?
Phishing is a method where scammers try to gather personal information using deceptive emails and websites. If you are ever unsure whether it’s us contacting you or a scammer, please hang up and contact our support team in the ‘talk to us’ center.
How do I identify phishing?
Our support team will only contact you via email from @chello.bank, or via a phone call that you have requested. Our staff will never ask you for your password and will never ask you to provide your password or two-factor authentication code anywhere except on the Chello sign-in pages. The only code the support team will ever ask you for is a 6-digit identity verification code.
What do I do if I responded to a phishing attempt?
If you gave your Chello password to anyone else, please contact us immediately via the ‘talk to us’ center so we can help secure your account and make sure no fraudulent transactions have occurred.
