Banking Credentials Refresh
Follow these steps to update your banking credentials in Plaid and ensure data accuracy.
The following alert is triggered by an error in Plaid, indicating that your banking credentials have expired or are no longer valid. The frequency of expiration is driven by your banking institution. If you encounter this alert upon log in, it is vital that you complete these steps to reestablish a connection and ensure your data is syncing properly.
- Click “Settings” in the pop-up below. If you've dismissed the pop-up, you can also access it directly via the Settings icon in the top right corner of the platform.
- Click the “Relink” button that corresponds with the invalid/expired credentials warning. 
- Follow the prompts within the Plaid widget. Once your credentials have been successfully refreshed, you are all set!
Please Note: If you are having trouble or continue to receive an error, please log in to your bank account to verify the banking user credentials match what you are entering in Plaid.
